Newsweek’s Best Addiction Treatment Centers 2020 lists the best treatment facilities in the top 20 states according to the Substance Abuse and Mental Health Services Administration (SAMHSA). Both Massachusetts -based Recovery Centers of America (“RCA”) addiction treatment facilities were recognized as some of the best facilities in the country, according to Newsweek, “on the basis of quality of service, reputation and accreditation compared to competition within the state.” Two other RCA treatment centers in Maryland also got the preaching for excellence, Recovery Centers of the US Capital Region, located near Washington DC, and Recovery Centers of America in Bracebridge Hall, serving the northeastern part of Maryland and Delaware.
The rankings were conducted by Newsweek and Statista Inc., a leading statistical data and industry ranking company. Newsweek and Statista used a comprehensive methodology when evaluating selected addiction treatment centers, including a reputation survey conducted by Newsweek and Statista and an accreditation score by SAMHSA.
