Megan Fox and Machine Gun Kelly had quite the journey while in Costa Rica.

The Star of “Jennifer’s Body” Revealed on “Jimmy Kimmel Live!” on Monday the couple flew to Central America to drink ayahuasca, a psychoactive tea, in “a good setting, with indigenous people”. The experience causes auditory and visual hallucinations and is said to treat various conditions such as anxiety, trauma and more.

Fox explained that they went to a location known for catering to celebrities looking for a spiritual journey, but found it was just the remote jungle.

“So I thought it was like glamping, like it was going to be some kind of five-star experience,” she joked.

β€œBut you get there and you’re really in the middle of the jungle, and you can’t eat after 1 pm. You have to walk very far to get your water, and you can’t shower because they’re “in a drought again,” Fox recalled. “There was nothing glamorous about it, and it’s all part of making you vulnerable, so you kind of surrender to the experience.”

Fox explained that the ceremony started with the group, which included about 20 other people, vomit the contents of their stomachs by drinking lemongrass tea.

“And you have to throw up a certain amount until they let you go back with everyone else, so you cheer everyone on when they throw up,” she said of the experience, admitting that she and the “Bloody Valentine” rapper were skeptical about going for it. throwing up on strangers until they realized it was “such a good bonding experience”.

The former “Transformers” star said the ceremony lasted three nights, but on her second night, she went to hell forever in a hallucination.

β€œJust knowing it’s an eternity is torture in itself, because there is no beginning, middle or end. So you have a real ego death,” she shared.

Fox, 35, said the experience surpassed talk therapy or hypnotherapy “because it just goes straight to your soul and takes you to the psychological prison you hold yourself in.”

“So it’s your own version of hell, and I was definitely there,” Fox added.
