State-owned LIC has five working days from May 10, as Saturdays have been declared a public holiday for the insurer.
Following a report on April 15, 2021, in which the central government has declared every Saturday a public holiday for Life Insurance Corporation of India, all policyholders and other stakeholders have been informed that on May 10, all offices of LIC will operate Monday to Friday, it said in a public notice.
“From May 10, 2021, business hours would be Monday through Friday from 10am to 5.30pm,” it added.
