The “…Baby, One More Time” singer β€” embroiled in a fierce legal battle over supervised by her father Jamie Spears β€” took to on Friday, July 16 to write an angry post addressed to nameless people who kept silent.

The intersection star posted the quote “Never forget who ignored you when you needed them and who helped you before you even had to ask,” next to the lengthy caption.

“There’s nothing worse than when the people closest to you who never showed up for you, posting things related to your situation, whatever it may be, and speaking righteously for support… there’s nothing worse than that,” she wrote. “How dare the people you love most say anything… did they even reach out a hand to even lift me up at that moment!!!??? How dare you make it public that it’s you NOW GIVES… did you hold out your hand when I was drowning????”

Spears added that those the post is about already know who they are.

“You actually have the audacity to say something about my situation, just to save face publicly,” she continued. β€œIf you are going to post something…. Please stop the fair approach if you’re so far from fair it’s not even funny.”

Spears added lots of middle finger emojis to really get the point home.

While Spears didn’t address the note to anyone in particular, fans in the comment section were quick to point out that her sister, Jamie Lynn Spears, had recently posted a video . Jamie Lynn has been criticized for not speaking out about her father’s involvement with Spears’ conservatory and for allegedly taking advantage of Spears’ situation financially, which she has vehemently denied.

This week Spears got the right to to pursue the end of the conservatory. Former federal prosecutor Mathew Rosengart will represent the artist in the future.

In a statement in court, Spears said she is “afraid” of her father Jamie Spears. She stated, “I’m here to get rid of my father and accuse him of conservatorship abuse.”
